Objective: I can read The Great Gatsby through my lens in order to have a deeper understanding of the book beyond the plot, and I can investigate the motives and emotions of one character. I can work in my project group to discuss and create scrapbook pieces.
Agenda:

• Entry Task: Turn to your neighbor and share at least one fun thing you did over spring break! Will ask for some volunteers to share. Get out lens questions and book.
  • Review lens questions
  • Follow along to chapter 6
    • Follow along in your book or do a coloring sheet while you listen
  • Answer 1 lens question
  • In your project groups discuss and work on your selected scrapbook pieces
• Exit Task: On a sticky note write down one thing you are looking forward to doing in class
