    • Review your questions
    • Listen to chapter 5 and answer one question from your worksheet
    • Work on project (individual or group), start creating your pieces… draft due tomorrow
  • Exit task: Have at least 7 questions answered on your chart

  • Entry Task: Get out your reading folder and book; find someplace comfortable to read
    • What is the definition of hyperbole?
    • Can you find it in This Moose belongs to me
      • Add example to your Literary Devices page in your reading folder
    • 25 minutes of independent reading
  • Exit Task: Have an awesome weekend!!

Objective:  I can edit and revise my current draft to be prepared to turn it in by the end of the period NEXT Thursday!  
Agenda:
  • Entry Task:  Get out your Chromebook and sit in your seat
    • Log in to Google Classroom and open your writing option
    • Make revisions or edits to your draft
      • Sign up for writing help on the board
    • Attempt to apply at least one TOT to your writing and show it in the TOT assignment (now extra credit)
  • Exit Task:  "Share" your draft with Miss Frost or Mrs. Leonetti if you would like feedback before the final draft (esp. if this is a new writing topic for you!)

Objective:  I can participate in the Socratic beach ball activity and contribute to the class discussion about the themes and topics in Of Mice and Men.
Agenda:
  • Entry Task: Come in and get out a writing utensil, be ready to listen to the directions   
    • Review the boxes on the bingo cards as a class
    • Be sure to think about what is expected of you in order to get bingo… winners get a piece of candy
    •  The class will sit or stand in a circle and NICELY toss the ball to each other and answer questions
      • If the ball is passed to you- choose a color and answer a question from that section- people may respond to others answers RESPECTFULLY
      • If someone else is answering- wait until they finish their if you would like to respond (either agreeing or disagreeing) you may before the ball is thrown again.
    •       Be marking your bingo card as we go along 
  • Exit task: Turn in your bingo card!

Objective:  I can apply tricks of the trade to my edits and revision for current draft of my writing option.  
Agenda:
  • Entry Task:  Get out your Chromebook and sit in your seat
  • Review Tricks of the Trade (TOT) assignment
  • Make revisions or edits to your draft, or begin a new writing option if you are ready
  • Attempt to apply at least one TOT to your writing and show it in the TOT assignment
Exit Task:  Last 5 min. find a good place to stop and put your Chromebook away in its correct slot, plugged in, please.
