LA11 Daily Objective & Agenda

Objective:  I can show my understanding of The Yellow Wallpaper and what it means to read through a lens by adding my insights to the poster for my lens.
Agenda:  
  • Entry Task:  Get out your lens from yesterday
  • Meet with your group to complete the poster test for the lens you selected
  • Poster Requirements:
    • Lens title (Feminism, Gothic, or Modernism) should be the largest font on the poster (5 pts.)
    • Lens definition:  Work with your group to come up with a 1-2 sentence definition of your lens using the statements as a guide (10 pts.)
    • Lens statements:  Each statement must be clearly labeled on the poster with at least one piece of evidence from The Yellow Wallpaper (put your initials next to your evidence) (10 pts.)
    • Illustrations:  Add interest to your poster by adding at least 3 relevant images or symbols from the story that are unique to your lens (5 pts. each)
    • Your participation in the creation of the poster is worth 40 pts.  Make sure to also turn in your completed lens sheet for a total of 50 pts., but before you turn it in, make sure you put your name on it and complete the exit task on the back!
    • Exit Task:  Review the evidence on each poster and answer how your lens was similar to or different from the other two lenses you did not use.  Having used this lens, which do you prefer now and why?
