Objective:  I can consider Huckleberry Finn through the lens of New Historicism, Realism, or Everyman and discuss with my group how this perspective impacts my understanding of the story.
Agenda:  

• Entry Task:  Get out Huckleberry Finn and your lens chart
  • Review the questions on your lens chart
  • Read or follow along to Ch. 2 & 5 of Huckleberry Finn
    • ​Complete 2 boxes in lens chart
      
  • Create a group with a member from each lens
  • Discuss your perspective with your group, and answer:  Does Huck consider himself to be good or bad thorugh the eyes of society at this point?  Why?
  • Review expectations for argument letter and map
• Exit Task:  As a group, select which project you want to complete together
