Objective:  I know the historical time frame in which F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote The Great Gatsby and can reference my notes for facts.
Agenda:
  • Entry Task:  As the song plays, write the objective at the top of the guided notes provided
    • As The Great Gatsby prezi is presented to you over the next two days, complete the guided notes along with the class.  Feel free to share "fun facts" you know about the Roaring 20s as we discuss.
    • After the presentation, review your lens questions as selected from the Once Upon a Time Test.
      • We will begin read The Great Gatsby in class next Monday.
      • We will finish the book the week of April 24th.  As long as you are present each reading day, you will need to do no reading at home.  If you are absent, you can follow along to the chapters in the above prezi.
  • Exit Task:  Get your notes checked off for completion as teacher walk around with clipboard.
