Objective:  I can analyze multiple interpretations of Of Mice and Men evaluating how each version interprets the text through viewing and reading through the lenses of New Historicism or Formalism (RL7).
Agenda:  

• Entry Task:  Your lens questions are your "movie ticket."
  • Go over the directions for top hat comparison of the book to the movie.  You will be looking at how your lens is portrayed comparatively as well as gleaning more information for your poster.  
  • Continue Of Mice and Men the film from where we left off and compare the film version to the book version.
    • Make comparison in your top hat chart as you watch.
• After viewing, make additions to your poster with your group.  
• Exit Task:  You will have a little time tomorrow to work on your poster, but it should be near completion and ready for gallery walk!
