LA11 Daily Objective & Agenda

Objective:  I can follow along with "The Man in the Water" by Roger Rosenblatt and answer use SOAPSE to show my understanding of how the character(s) behave like an Everyman.
Agenda:  
  • Entry Task:  Get out notebook and copy title and author of story from objective.  Make note of the context from the prezi.  Review your Claim, Cite, Clarify from our last SOAPSE.
  • Listen and follow along to "The Man in the Water" by Roger Rosenblatt (6:28 min.)
  • With a small group, complete SOAPSE as assigned to your group
  • Be prepared to share your group's response for the class poster.
    • Reword the class poster to make it your own as each response is shared out.
  • Exit Task:  Of the characters from "And of Clay Are We Created" and "The Man in the Water" to whom do you relate the most?  How does this point to the idea of the Everyman?
