Objective: I can review what it means to read through a lens, our lenses of Transcendentalism and Dystopia, and I can draw from the "reaping bowl" the statement I will investigate to practice reading The Hunger Games through a lens. Agenda:
Entry Task: Get out your reaping bowl ticket to be able to begin the movie.
Review your selection from the reaping bowl for the statement you will identify. You must have two pieces of evidence to begin.
Complete your third piece of evidence today.
Finish The Hunger Games
Go over directions for the poster test.
Title must be biggest font on the poster
Every statement must be included--you are responsible for YOUR pieces
Each statement must have one piece of evidence
The poster must have at least 3 relevant pictures, this can come as evidence, or you can supplement once everyone has added to the poster.
Do not wait, write ALL OVER the poster--it does not need to be linear or straight but please use your best handwriting because other students need your evidence too.
Be prepared to share your piece of evidence with the class, so we can complete our evidence test.
You should be writing down your own group's evidence on the test sheet after you are completed writing your own on the poster. You will not have time to do this tomorrow.
Exit Task: Make sure you have ALL of the statements represented on the evidence test for your lens.
