Agenda:
  • Entry Task:  Pick up a copy of The Alchemyst and sit with those you are working on the -ology book with.  Get out your "test."  Get a picture to color if necessary for you.  
    • DW:  Who is your favorite character so far?  Why?
  • ​Define point of view and begin listening to The Alchemyst from Audible ch. 18 (14:41) and ch. 19 (18:49) and find point of view while listening/reading.
  • Exit Task:  Complete your -ology book continue lit. cards following steps in #5 and #6

Agenda:
  • Entry Task:   Go to www.literaturewithleonetti.com/9-daily then click on this link to vocabulary.com for 4th and 6th 
  • Sign up using your Google account and enter our school.  
    • ​Play the game!  
  • We will listen to chapter 16 and possibly 17 today (38 min.)
  • TODAY ONLY, you can catch up on your website WHILE we are listening IF you have not finished your literature connection OR (Semester 2 students only) homepage.  
  • You should finish either your homepage or your literature connections page today.

Agenda:
  • Entry Task: Get out your independent reading folder from the file cabinet and your library book.​​
  • Story time!  Excerpt from Lilliam Rivera's book The Education of Margot Sanchez--our visiting author on April 27th!  
    • If you are interested in attending, complete the Author Visit Pass! in Google Classroom.  
  • 20 min. Sustained Silent Reading
  • Review Independent Reading Contract
    • Complete one reading response or children's book review.  We only have 6 more Fridays until this is due!  
  • Exit Task:  Make sure your name is on your folder and the put it back in the drawer for next Friday. ​

    • Follow along to the directions for the new Literature Connections page. 
  • If you sent me an email last Thursday, check your email for a response to your work so far on your website.  
    • Use your time to create the new page to showcase your learning and style from this semester.  You will have each Thursday (as long as we keep up on our reading) through April to make these additions to your website.
