Objective: I can write a narrative in the style of an acrostic or bio poem about my famous figure in which I can accurately cite strong and thorough textual evidence using MLA format and avoid plagiarism (W1; RI1). Agenda:
Entry Task: Get out your Chromebook and sit where you are comfortable to type but not talk.
DW: No write today--turn and share what has been your favorite part to write about your famous figure: biography, gossip column, historical fiction, acrostic poem, or bio poem. Why?
Be prepared to share which was your favorite and why to the whole class in preparation for our presentations next week!
Work Day: During our class today, you will have the hour to get caught up on your presentation OR your Weebly website. Both of these are due at the end of the week. At this point, you should have these items completed in your slideshow:
Gossip Column OR Historical Fiction
Acrostic or Bio Poem
You should be selecting on of your slides for your Weebly Famous Figure page.
Exit Task: Hit Turn In on your slideshow for one more chance at feedback.
