Objective:  I can connect my cultural and historical understanding of Afghanistan and A Thousand Splendid Suns or The Kite Runner to what is currently happening in Afghanistan by showing my understanding on a map of Asia.
Agenda:
  • Entry Task:  Review your notes on ethnicity, Afghanistan Influencers, and Human Rights Challenges from the Cultural Perspective prezi.
    • If you can print a copy of the map for your notes, do so.  If not, you can just utilize the map in the handout in Google Classroom.
  • Review the directions in the handout and complete the activities in the chart, following the links as necessary.
  • Exit Task: When you have finished the assignment, hit "Turn In."  I am looking for thorough, thoughtful answers that show you have made connections between the current events and your reading.  Please note you have two days to complete this assignment.
