Objective:  I can show a thorough understanding of The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns through the lens of what it means to be cut off from "home".
Agenda:
  • Entry Task:  Get out your My Essential Lit. for Kite Runner or Thousand Splendid Suns.  
    • 15-20 min. Complete the test for the book you read, Kite Runner or Thousand Splendid Suns
      • Turn in your My Essential Lit. with your test
  • Finish our whole class discussion about the two readings; remember you either need to participate three times OR answer thoroughly and thoughtfully 3 of the questions discussed in class showing you were engaged in the discussion by listening.
  • Exit Task:  Turn in discussion questions if you did not participate verbally.
