Objective:  I can watch Hamlet Act II-Act IV through the psychoanalytical or archetypal lens and make meaning of plot points I may have missed through the reading.
Agenda:  
  • Entry Task:  Get out copy of Hamlet, lens questions, and My Essential Lit.
  • Watch Act II-Act IV, scene 6-7 (13 min.)
    • Before viewing:  What does Claudius plan with Laertes?
    • During viewing:  Take additional notes on lens questions, using play to find quotes that support your thinking.
  • After viewing:  Begin to make meaning of your notes on your lens questions and start answering the questions.  There is only one Act left!
