Objective:  I can participate in a silent discussion showing I am able to take a position, explain it clearly, defend my position, listen respectively, and keep and open mind.
Agenda:
  • Entry Task:  MC #6
    • Answer the Chalk Talk questions from the Feminism prezi in your journal
    • Review the expectations for a discussion in the Socratic Seminar Entry Ticket
    • Write your answers to the questions on the posters around the room using the marker provided
    • Go back to your journal and write what you found most surprising about people's responses to each question.
    • Watch "We Should All Be Feminists" and take notes in your Entry Ticket
    • Participate in the Chalk Talk using your discussion rubric as a guide
  • Exit Task:  After the Chalk Talk, summarize your thinking for the day in your journal  has your definition of feminism changed?  Why or why not?
