AP Daily Objective & Agenda

Objective:  I can meet with my Writer's Workshop and review my writing progress thus far (W11-12.5). 
Agenda:  
  • Entry Task:  Meet with your writing group and individually review essay scores.  
    • Chart your progress and answer related questions
    • Take a copy of the example essay for the prompt you selected (if it is your essay, grab the example of a different prompt)
      • Read the essay and jot down on the post-it provided what you notice about their essay in comparison with their own.
        • Use wording from the essay graphic to help you clarify the differences
    • Share out to the class what we notice about how the high-scoring essays did
      • Teacher to make clarifications about what (s)he noticed
      • Highlight on your post-it what you will work on for your next essay.  
      • Put your post-it on top of your essay inside of your folder as a reminder of what to do differently next time..
        • Return the example essays to the pile you took them from.  
  • Exit Task:  Put your essay back in your folder and your folder back with your group's.
If time, meet with your Book Club and work on Book Questions (Frankenstein, Jane Eyre, or Pride and Prejudice) and My Essential Literature.
