Objective:  I can practice using poetry analysis skills on a favorite poem to compare to a favorite song, so I can see that there are multiple possible meanings that only need to be supported by the text to be true.
Agenda:
  • Entry Task:  Multiple Choice #14 and get a Chromebook
  • Follow directions from Poetry Prezi slide 12
    • Highlight and dog-ear all of the poets we have seen thus far that have appeared on the AP test.
  • Take notes from the video on Sylvia Plath and Ted Hughes who have appeared on the test 5 times.
  • Use TP-CASTT, tone, and poetic devices to analyze "Fever 103" and "Fever"
  • Begin your poem search in Google Classroom for poems from the AP test that match the theme of your song to add to your Poem and Song Slides
  • Exit Task:  Send your prompt date and poem choice to sleonetti@cheneysd.org
