Objective: I understand what the purpose of the AP Test is, and I can consider whether or not this is something I am interested in pursuing, understanding that I may change my mind as I progress through the class. 
Agenda: 
  • Entry Task:   As you come in, take down your reaction to the poem and the post-its; then, sit with your 12 o'clock partner and discuss your interaction with the poem, how frequently did you refer back to the text? 
    • Continue prezi from slide 8 
      • Although there is not one right answer to a poem, the answer to the poem is in the poem.  
    • Read AP Access and Equity new and old statements and use your rhetorical analysis or annotating skills
      • Share your thoughts with your 12 o'clock partner
      • 3 pairs of partners to share out what they noticed
      • Share the graph from the prezi
    • Review my AP Test Scores in comparison with the world​
    • Discuss Parts of the Test--Get Multiple Choice Entry Task and review expectations from prezi slide 10
    • Read the first selection and answer number 1
Exit Task:  Post-it-Did you take the AP Language test last year?  If yes, what was your score? Were you proud of yourself?  YOU SHOULD BE!!! Do you think you will take the test this year?   Based on what you have seen, how prepared do you feel? At this point I am wondering . . . .
