Objective: I can watch Act I-II of Hamlet and explain whether or not my interpretation of the play changes based on the viewing to determine whether or not it would be valuable to continue to view the film. Agenda:
Entry Task: Pick up the Top-Hat comparison and get out your lens annotations so far. Jot down at least 5 items you want to look for as we watch the film on the left.
We are watching the film in order to improve our understanding of the play. It is important to consider whether or not the viewing adds to your understanding.
Watch Act I of Hamlet (49:08); take notes of any clarifications or answers you see from the film
Exit Task: After you watch the film, in the bottom box, explain how or if your interpretation has changed or if you questions have been clarified. Be sure to address whether or not watching the film was a valuable or necessary experience for you as a learner as this will determine whether or not we continue to take time to watch parts of the film version of the play.
