Objective:  I can determine two or more central ideas of a text and analyze how they interact and build on one another to provide an objective summary of the text (RL.11-12.2).
Agenda:

• Entry Task: Review your notes on Dystopia and Transcendentalism and prepare to look for both in your reading today with the story and crayons/markers provided.
• Review the directions for analyzing “There Will Come Soft Rains” by Ray Bradbury
• Follow along as the story is read to you by Leonard Nemoy
  • As you listen, use the colors to identify elements of Dystopia and Transcendentalism as well as story details.

Exit Task: After reading, review the elements and summarize the texts using at least two of the elements to do so.
