Objective:  I can develop a draft of my review, focusing on what is necessary for an effective review and who my audience will be for what I have selected to review (W11-12.5).
Agenda:
  • Entry Task:  Get out your Chromebook and sign in to Google Classroom. Get out your notes on what you reviewed and review your annotations on “How to Write a Review.”
    • As a class, review our notes on “How to Write a Review” as well as suggestions from NYT from slideshow (slides 8-11).
  • In the Write Your Review assignment in Google Classroom, create your best draft following the suggestions and utilizing your notes on what you reviewed.
    • You will share your draft with a partner in our next class.  Be ready!
  • If Time:
    •  Add a picture (remember, your final draft will be in poster format and hung in the hallway as well as submitted to NYT)
    • Review the rubric provided by NYT
  • Exit Task:  DO NOT “turn in” your review; you will share it with a partner tomorrow for feedback.  If you are not finished, you should spend time outside of class to finish it up.
