Objective:  I can showcase my own favorite poem or story completed in class, and I can consider the aesthetic appeal of my classmates’ best work in order to determine a deserving winner for a short story and poetry prize.
Agenda:
  • Entry Task:  Take the contest roster and packet of readings
    • Be prepared to read your work when you are called on
  • Carefully consider each person’s reading by completing the roster as each is presented.  You may follow along in the packet.
  • Exit Task: Determine your winner for each category by circling their name and turn in your roster, so I can award prizes before seniors head off into the wild blue yonder!
    • While I am tallying votes, seniors, take your scored anthologies and feel free to sign each others’ works.  You may want to add these to your anthology as a memory for this class.
