Objective:  I can determine two or more themes or central ideas of a text and analyze their development over the course of the text, including how they interact and build on one another to develop my own ideas around the two themes to determine my own beliefs (RL11-12.2).
Agenda:

• Entry Task:  Pick up the evidence sheet and the bookmarks. Cut apart the bookmarks and cut and paste the evidence sheet into your notebook.
• Review the directions for the bookmarks and the evidence sheet.  
  • Read each bookmark and look at the example evidence for the Paperweight.
  • Look back at your annotations on the article from yesterday and add one other piece of evidence to Ch. 1-2.
• Use the bookmarks to mark evidence as you follow along to the reading of Ch. 3-6 (30:32 min.)
• After the reading, look back through the pages you marked and complete 2 pieces of evidence
• Exit Task:  Put away the books with the bookmarks in the envelope tucked in the front of the book on the cart.
